Okay, so I’ve been hearing all this stuff about, you know, taking care of business before bed. Supposedly it helps you sleep better. I was skeptical, but hey, I’m always up for trying something new, especially if it might mean I can finally ditch the counting sheep.

So, last night, I decided to give it a go. My usual routine is to scroll through my phone until my eyes get heavy, which, let’s be honest, sometimes takes forever. But last night, I put the phone down, put on some chill music(I really like Lo-Fi), and, well, you know… went for it.
I started out slow. I do this, closed my eyes, and, you know, just focused on the feeling. No rush, just enjoying the moment.
Then i got more enjoy it, I, speed it up a little, breathing got a little heavier, you know, the usual. and, It built up and up, and then… boom. Release. Honestly, It felt pretty damn good.
The Aftermath
- Relaxed Muscles: I could I really could feel my body just kind of… melt. All that tension, especially in my shoulders, just eased away.
- Sleepy Time: I was surprised, but I actually felt tired. Like, really tired. Not that exhausted, can’t-keep-my-eyes-open tired, but a pleasant, drowsy kind of tired.
I turned off the music, crawled under the covers, and… bam. I was out. Didn’t even remember dreaming. Woke up this morning feeling pretty refreshed, actually. Maybe a little too relaxed, if you know what I mean.
I only tried once, it’s not scientific proof or anything, but based on this one time? I’d say it’s worth a shot. Might not work for everyone, but if you’re struggling to fall asleep, what do you have to lose, right? Just make sure you, you know, clean up after yourself. Don’t want to make a mess.
