Okay, so I saw this question floating around online – “is 7 inches hung?” – and I got curious. I mean, we all hear things, but I wanted to see what the actual deal was. So, I decided to do a little digging, a very personal experiment, you might say.
First, I grabbed a ruler. Just a regular, old, 12-inch ruler from my desk drawer. Nothing fancy. I wanted to be sure about the measurements, you know?

Next, well, this is where it gets personal. I went to the bathroom, you know, for privacy. And, um, I measured myself. It’s a bit awkward to talk about, but hey, we’re being real here, right?
I made sure to, ahem, “be ready” for the measurement. You can’t exactly get accurate results if things aren’t, shall we say, at their full potential. I mean, you have to do it at the full size or not.
So, I lined up the ruler and… took a look. This is where things get interesting. I had to make sure I was measuring from the, uh, base, all the way to the tip. No cheating, no rounding up. Just the cold, hard facts.
And the result? It wasn’t 7inches！ It’s a bit embarrassing,I’m not gonna lie about that. But, that’s just me. I’m sure there are plenty of guys out there who fit the “hung” description. Just not this guy, apparently.
After I finished, I washed my hands (obviously) and went back to my computer. I figured I’d do some research, see what the average is supposed to be. Turns out, 7 inches is above average. Which, honestly, made me feel a little bit better about my own, uh, findings.
But, you know, it is what it is.
