Alright, so the other day I got it into my head to figure out if my package was up to snuff. I mean, we’ve all heard the talk, right? Size matters, size doesn’t matter, blah blah blah. But I wanted to see for myself, you know? So I started with a little online digging.

First off, I grabbed my trusty measuring tape. The soft kind, not the metal one from the garage. I’d read somewhere that you gotta use a soft one for, uh, obvious reasons. I found some articles saying the average erect size is somewhere around 5.1 to 5.5 inches. Some say a lot of people think it should be 6 inches. Another study said the average size has grown 25% in the last thirty years! Then there’s a bunch of stuff about flaccid sizes, but honestly, who cares about that? Anyway, the numbers were all over the place, but it seemed like anything above 5 inches was generally considered okay.
Then I went ahead and did the deed. Measured myself, I mean. First, when I was just hanging out, and it was like, maybe 4 inches? Didn’t really pay much attention to that one. Then I got myself, you know, in the mood. Watched some stuff, did my thing, and then took the measurement. Came out to a solid 7 inches. I was pretty surprised, not gonna lie. I always thought I was average, maybe even a little below.
- First attempt (flaccid): Around 4 inches, but who cares?
- Second attempt (erect): Exactly 7 inches.
After that, I did some more reading. Apparently, about 45% of guys think they’re small, and the average flaccid is anywhere from 3 to 5 inches. Some study said 7 to 10. Found another article saying 95% of us are in the average range. So, I guess I’m above average? Kinda cool, but also kinda weird to think about. In the end, it’s not like it changes anything. I’m still me, and my partner’s never complained. But it’s nice to know, you know?
So, yeah, that was my little adventure into the world of penis measurements. Not something I ever thought I’d be doing, but hey, life’s full of surprises. It is interesting though, how much we obsess over this stuff. At the end of the day, it’s all about confidence and knowing how to use what you’ve got, right?
My Thoughts
It’s all a bit silly when you think about it. But I guess it’s human nature to compare and worry. Just remember, guys, it’s not the size of the boat, it’s the motion of the ocean. Or something like that. Just be confident, be respectful, and have fun. That’s all that really matters.
