Okay, so today I decided to dive into some Taylor Swift lyrics for a bit of inspiration. I’ve always found her songwriting pretty relatable, and I thought it would be fun to see if I could pull some extra motivation from her words.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed my headphones and pulled up my favorite Taylor Swift playlist. I wasn’t looking for anything specific, just wanted to let the music wash over me and see what stood out.
The Process
- Listened actively: Instead of just having the music on in the background, I really paid attention to the lyrics.
- Jotted down lines: Whenever a line resonated with me, I’d pause the music and write it down in my *’t overthink it, just wrote down anything that gave me that “spark.”
- Reflected a bit: After listening for a while, I went back through my notes and just kind of free-wrote about why certain lyrics hit me the way they did.
Finding the Gold
I ended up with a pretty good mix of lyrics. Some were about overcoming heartbreak, like I expected, but others were surprisingly about ambition and staying true to yourself.
One is “ Long live the walls we crashed through. I had the time of my life, with you”
Wrapping Up
Honestly, it was a really nice way to spend an afternoon. It felt good to connect with the music on a deeper level and to realize that I’m not the only one who’s felt certain ways. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re feeling a little blah or need a boost of creative juice!
