Okay, so today’s topic is a bit of a wild one – inappropriate pick up lines. Yeah, you heard that right. I decided to dive into the world of cheesy, cringeworthy, and downright terrible pick up lines. Don’t ask me why, I just did.
First, I started out by brainstorming some of the classic bad ones. You know, the ones you hear in movies or read about online. I jotted down a bunch in my notebook. Then, I decided to take it up a notch and went online to see what the internet had to offer. I searched for things like “cheesy pickup lines” and “how to make someone blush over text” and boy, oh boy, did I find some gems.
- “You’ve been on my mind all day.”
- “You look absolutely amazing today!”
- “WOW ๐ You’re SO handsome!”
I even found some advice on how to start a conversation with a guy, like just saying “Hi, I’m (your name). What’s your name?” and then saying something you noticed about him while smiling. Simple enough, right?
After gathering a decent collection, I decided to test them out. No, not on real people! I tried them out on my friends over text, just to see their reactions. Most of them just laughed and sent back some equally ridiculous responses. A few were genuinely confused, which made it even funnier.
The Experiment
I picked a few of my friends who I knew would appreciate the humor. My first message was to my friend who is very good at picking up girls. I sent him, “You look absolutely amazing today!” He just replied, “Haha, thanks! You too!” Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for, but it was still pretty funny.
Then I tried a different one on another friend. I texted her, “You’ve been on my mind all day.” She responded with, “Aww, that’s sweet! What have you been up to?” Again, not the reaction I expected, but it was a nice conversation starter.
Finally, I decided to go for the most outrageous one I could find. I sent “WOW ๐ You’re SO handsome!” to my best friend. His response? “Dude, are you okay? Did someone hack your phone?” This one cracked me up the most. We ended up having a good laugh about it.
So, after this little experiment, I realized that inappropriate pick up lines are mostly just for laughs. They’re not really meant to be taken seriously, and they’re definitely not a good way to start a real conversation. But hey, it was a fun way to kill some time and share some laughs with my friends. I might just share some of these lines in my next blog post, just for kicks. Who knows, maybe someone will find them useful in some weird, twisted way. LOL.
