My Messy Attempt With That Quiz Site
So yesterday I thought hey let’s try that quiz website everyone keeps talking about. Guy quiz something. Opened my laptop, typed in the address, and bam – nothing loaded. Just blank white screen staring back at me.

Refreshed five times like an idiot before checking my wifi. Phone hotspot, same story. Thought maybe I got the name wrong? Tried adding www. Still blank. Removed the dot between words. Got some sketchy casino page instead.
Decided to get smarter about it:
- Cleared browser cache while cursing under my breath
- Disabled every single extension one by one
- Even tried that ancient computer I keep for emergencies
Same damn blank page every time. Felt like the internet was gaslighting me. Asked my neighbor if they could pull it up – they got some weird Japanese shoe store instead. Like what even is this domain?
Finally dug through old tweets mentioning it. Turns out the whole thing vanished months ago. All those “fun personality tests” evaporated overnight. Left zero traces except confused forum posts asking where it went.
Here’s what burns me up: why build something just to ghost users? That domain’s still registered too! Paying for empty digital real estate. Reminds me of last year when that recipe app I loved suddenly became crypto nonsense overnight. Didn’t even send users an email.

Makes you realize anything online could disappear while you’re sleeping. My wife’s like “just find another quiz site” but nah. When stuff pulls vanishing acts like this, it kills trust in the whole ecosystem.
Anyway, wasted three hours on this digital goose chase. Moral of the story? If you find something useful online, screenshot it immediately. And never believe the hype until you’ve kicked the tires yourself.
