Regarding Today’s Planned Topic
Alright, so, the plan for today, as some of you might have seen hinted, was a piece titled ‘leg lock sex’. I’d actually started outlining it, thinking about how to break down the, uh, practical aspects and share some records, just like I usually try to do. Went through a few drafts in my head, you know, trying to figure out the best way to lay it all out, what experiences would even make sense to share in that context.
But here’s the thing. As I got deeper into actually trying to structure it, going from the initial idea to what the detailed process would look like on the page, I started feeling a bit off about it. It’s one of those topics that, the more you poke at it, the more you realize it might not quite fit what this space is all about. I always want to share stuff that’s grounded in real experience, sure, but also stuff that feels, well, right and responsible to put out there. This one started to feel like it was veering off that path a little too much for my liking.
You know how it is sometimes, you think, “Yeah, this could be interesting!” and then when you actually sit down to do the work, to get into the nitty-gritty, the ‘final realization’ is that, nope, this isn’t the one. At least not for now. I’m all for open sharing, but I’ve gotta draw the line where I feel it needs to be drawn to keep things constructive and, frankly, not dive into areas I’m not comfortable detailing publicly in this format.
So, long story short, I’ve made the call to pull back on that specific topic. Decided to put that one on the shelf. Maybe the idea will come back in a different form, or maybe it’s just one of those that stays in the draft folder permanently. We’ll see. Just wanted to be upfront about it rather than just skipping a beat. I’ll get something else cooked up for you all soon. Thanks for sticking with me.
