How I Started My Search Today
Woke up thinking about Sarah Janine. Got curious online after hearing her name drop in conversation yesterday. Pulled out my laptop, opened a big search engine box straight up.

First thing I typed: “Sarah Janine resources”. Hit enter. Whoa. Way too much stuff popped up. Saw social media profiles, vague references, nothing that screamed “here’s actual things she made”. Scrolled down… kept scrolling. Found mostly people talking about her maybe? Not actual by her. Kinda frustrating.
Getting Specific and Hitting Walls
Changed my tactic. Grabbed a cup of coffee. Tried again, this time typing: “Sarah Janine Best work”. Hoped maybe someone tagged her stuff properly. Results looked slightly different… but still messy.
- Saw old forum posts: People arguing about where her stuff might be archived.
- Bumped into old articles: Mentioning her in lists, like “prominent folks from back then”. Useless for finding resources.
- Random profiles: People using the same name, totally unrelated. Had to sift through nonsense.
Thought about trying her name in quotes: “Sarah Janine”. Search engine liked that better. More relevant results started bubbling up near the top. Spotted a reference to a specific project name she was involved in – “Project Vanguard”. Progress!
The Unlikely Treasure Chest
Combined it all now: Tacked “Project Vanguard” onto my “Sarah Janine” quote search. Clicked the little search button feeling skeptical.
Bam! Near the top this time? Found this dusty-looking archive site called something like “The Digital Preservation Hub”. Sounded legit enough to click. Heartbeat sped up a little. Scrolled slowly through the page.

There it was! Big list:
- Original whitepapers PDFs: Clearly tagged with her name as author or co-author.
- Interview transcripts: Old Q&As from conferences she spoke at.
- Presentation slides: Like, actual visuals she used years ago!
- A bibliography section: Pointing to places these things were first published.
No shiny official website, no slick modern portal. Just this unassuming archive, saved by a university library ages ago, sitting there waiting. Downloaded a bunch of PDFs immediately. Felt like hitting the jackpot.
Totally made my coffee worth it. Sometimes the gold ain’t in the flashy places, it’s hiding in the digital attic.
