Alright, so I saw this question the other day, “how many sex positions are there?” and it got me thinking. I mean, I’ve tried a few, you know, the usual stuff, but I never really sat down and counted them all out. So, I decided to do just that. This is gonna be interesting, I thought.

First thing I did was hit up the internet, obviously. I typed in the question and bam! Tons of articles, lists, even some videos popped up. Some sites were saying there’s like 20, others were listing way more, like 39 or even higher. It was a bit overwhelming, not gonna lie.
I started going through these lists, one by one. Some of them had these fancy names, like “The Spoon” or some other stuff I can’t even pronounce. They had descriptions, some even had pictures, which was… helpful, I guess. I even found a table that talked about the, uh, “penetration level” of each position. Yeah, it got pretty detailed.
So, I took notes. Lots of notes. I wrote down the names, tried to understand the descriptions, and even tried a few… for research purposes, of course. Let me tell you, some of these positions are not as easy as they look. I pulled a muscle trying to get into one of them. No joke.
My Little Experiment
- The Spoon – This one was easy, pretty chill. Good for when you’re feeling lazy or just want to cuddle.
- The Seated – Okay, this one required a bit more work. One person sits, the other, well, you get the idea. It was fun, though.
- A lot of others – Some involved standing, some were on the bed, on the floor, even one that said “against the wall”. I was like, seriously? How do you even do that?
After a few days of this “research”, I had a pretty long list. I lost count somewhere around 30, to be honest. And let me tell you, my body was feeling it. I felt like I’d run a marathon or something. It was exhausting but kind of fun. I never thought I’d be doing this kind of stuff, but hey, life is full of surprises, right?
In the end, I realized there are a ton of sex positions out there. More than I could ever try, probably. And honestly, it doesn’t really matter how many there are. It’s all about finding what you and your partner enjoy. That’s what I learned from this whole experiment. It’s not about the number, it’s about the fun and the connection. So, yeah, that’s my story. It was a wild ride, but I’m glad I did it. Learned a lot about myself, and about, well, other things. Definitely an experience I won’t forget. And my back still hurts a little, but it was worth it, I guess!
