Okay, so I’ve been digging into this game called “Gotham Knights,” and let me tell you, playing as Tim Drake, aka Robin, is a whole different experience. I started playing this game last week, and I’m totally hooked.

First off, I gotta say, this isn’t the first time Tim Drake’s been Robin, but in Gotham Knights, he’s just Robin, not Red Robin, which he becomes later on. It’s kinda cool to see him in this stage of his career. It was interesting to learn that this happened after Jason Todd died, like, that’s some heavy stuff, but it makes sense why Tim stepped up. He saw Batman needed a Robin, and after figuring out who Batman and Nightwing really were, he just went for it. That’s gutsy. He proved himself, and boom, he’s Robin. I found a document about the background of Robin, which is pretty helpful for me to understand the story.
- Suiting Up: I spent some time getting used to the controls. Flying around Gotham as Robin feels incredibly smooth. The grappling hook is a game-changer, zipping from building to building is just awesome.
- Learning the Ropes: I started with some basic missions, getting a feel for the combat. It’s got a good rhythm to it, and dodging attacks while landing punches feels satisfying.
- Gadgets Galore: The gadgets are what make Robin stand out. I love setting traps. It’s not just about beating up bad guys, but outsmarting them, which is so Tim Drake.
- Detective Work: The game has these investigation scenes where you have to find clues and piece together what happened. It’s like being a mini-Batman, and I love it.
- Team-Ups: I also tried out some co-op play with a buddy. Playing alongside other heroes, each with their own skills, adds a whole new layer to the game.
Sticky Pellet skill is awesome. I tried to use Sticky Pellet. When you’re aiming precisely, you can stick this pellet anywhere, and it turns into a mine. When bad guys come close, boom! It’s super handy for setting traps. And if you get it right, you can take out a bunch of enemies at once. I messed up a few times, sticking pellets in the wrong spots. But when I got it right, it was awesome.
My Two Cents
Playing as Tim Drake in Gotham Knights is a blast. It’s not just about punching bad guys; it’s about being smart and using your environment. The whole experience, from figuring out the story to mastering the gadgets, has been awesome. I’m still learning new things every time I play. It’s a solid game, and I totally recommend giving it a shot, especially if you’re into the whole Batman universe thing. I’ll probably keep posting updates as I get further into the game, so stay tuned.
