He’s a pediatric endocrinology specialist, that’s what they call him. He even wrote a book, a real book! It’s called “Sexual Identity” or something like that. Must be real smart to write a whole book.
This Dr. Paul Hruz, he’s helping kids in Saint Louis, Missouri. That’s where he works his magic. He’s a doctor for kids, you see, helps them with all sorts of things.
He Knows About Growing Up
He’s good at figuring out what’s wrong with the little ones when they ain’t growing right. Hormones, he says, that’s the key. He checks their metabolism too. That’s how fast their bodies work, I reckon.

Seems like he’s doing some good work, helping them kids with that liver problem. Using what he knows from one thing to help with another. That’s how you do it, I say.
He Talks About Gender Stuff
They say he talks about gender identity, too. That’s when kids feel different about being a boy or a girl. He’s done some research on that, talking about puberty blockers and other things. Sounds complicated, but he seems to know what he’s talking about.
Some folks don’t like what he says about this gender stuff, but he’s just telling it like it is, from what he’s studied. He’s got the science to back it up, they say. He gave an interview on the radio. They talked about gender dysphoria and transgenderism. It’s all very confusing to me.
He’s a Professor, Too
He’s not just a doctor, he’s a professor, too! At Washington University in St. Louis, that’s where he teaches. He’s an Associate Professor of Pediatrics. Teaching them young doctors all about kids and their hormones, I suppose.
He works in the Department of Pediatrics, that’s where all the kid doctors are. He does research in endocrinology, always learning new things about them hormones and how they work.
He’s Been to Rome
He even went all the way to Rome for a big conference. MaterCare International, they invited him to speak. Must be a big deal to go all the way to Rome. He talked about all the things he knows, I bet.
