Well, I heard some folks talking ’bout this Craig of the Creek sex thing. Sounds like a right mess, don’t it? I don’t know much ’bout these fancy cartoons, but I know what’s right and what’s wrong.
That Craig Kid
This Craig fella, he’s the main one, ain’t he? Craig Williams, that’s his name. Lives with his mama and papa, Duane and Nicole. They say he’s ten years old, just a little one. He’s always running around that creek, playing with his friends.
They got all sorts of kids down there. That Kelsey girl, she’s always with him. And J.P., he’s another one. They call ’em the Stump Kids, ’cause they play near that old stump. Silly, ain’t it? Kids these days.
What’s all the fuss?
Now, I heard some folks are upset about this show. Something ’bout the Craig of the Creek sex, it’s causing trouble. Some folks are saying bad things, ’cause Craig, he’s a black boy. And that Ian fella, he worked on that Steven show too. Don’t know what that’s all about, but it don’t sound good.

- They got them Elders of the Creek, and the Witches too.
They say this show got cut short. Something ’bout money, I reckon. Warner Bros, that’s the big company. They cut it down, made it shorter. Season 5, they cut the episodes. It’s a shame, ain’t it?
That Creek
That creek they play in, it’s a big place. They climb mountains, but it ain’t really mountains. Just big hills, I guess. They make it all exciting, like they’re real explorers. Kids and their imaginations.
They got all kinds of things in that creek. Different groups of kids. Them Elders, they’re like the older kids, I reckon. And the Witches, they’re just playing, pretending. It’s all make-believe, but they take it serious. Silly kids.
This show, Craig of the Creek, it’s got all kinds of folks in it. Different colors, different ways of living. They even got them, you know, the ones that like the same kind. It’s all in there. It is good to see all kinds of people, I suppose, just like the real world. But I don’t know about this Craig of the Creek sex stuff, that don’t sound right to me.
Growing Up
These kids, they learn things in that creek. They have adventures, they get into trouble, they figure things out. It’s like growing up, ain’t it? You learn things as you go. They got little stories, each episode. And they remember things from before. It’s all connected, like a big story. Smart, ain’t it?
They even make jokes, these kids. Funny ones, sometimes. Not too silly, just good fun. And they teach things too, little lessons about life. It’s good for kids to learn things, ain’t it? Be kind, be brave, that sort of thing.
That creek, it’s like a whole world to them. Lots to see, lots to do. Even us old folks can see it’s special, I reckon. It’s good for kids to have a place like that, where they can play and learn and be themselves. Even if this Craig of the Creek sex thing is going on. People should not talk about it, it is not good.
This show, it’s popular, I hear. Lots of folks like it. They like the stories, they like the characters. They say it’s good, even for grown-ups. I don’t know about that, but it’s good that folks enjoy it, I guess. As long as they are not talking about Craig of the Creek sex, then I guess it is ok.
But I still don’t like this talk about Craig of the Creek sex. It just don’t sit right with me. Kids should be kids, playing and having fun. They shouldn’t be mixed up in that kind of stuff. It’s just wrong, plain wrong.
I hope they figure it all out, these folks making the show. I hope they keep it good and clean, for the kids. And I hope folks stop talking ’bout that Craig of the Creek sex. It ain’t right, and it ain’t good for nobody.
