They say somethin’ about “Reality” bein’ popular. Like watchin’ real people doin’ real things. I don’t know, seems kinda nosy to me. But who am I to judge? These kids today, they like what they like. And they sure do watch a lot of it. Millions, I hear. Millions of folks watchin’ this stuff. Forty million Americans, they say! That’s a lot of eyeballs! It’s like a whole country of folks just glued to their screens. Different strokes for different folks, I reckon.
And these websites, they keep track of it all. They know what everyone’s watchin’. They know what’s popular, what ain’t. They even know what folks are searchin’ for. These new porn trends, they’re like a big ol’ map of what people want. And those websites, they’re like the mapmakers, always chartin’ new territory. They’ve been doin’ these yearly reviews for years now, talkin’ about the hot trends. Eighth year, ninth year, I’ve lost count.

They even know what the gays and the… well, you know… the other folks like. They studied over 2,000 people, ages 18 to 40. That’s a lot of questions they asked. They ask people all sorts of questions about what they like to watch. I don’t even want to know what kind of questions they ask! It’s all very scientific, I suppose.
And they say these new porn trends, they change all the time. What’s popular today might be gone tomorrow. It’s like fashion, I guess. One day it’s bell bottoms, the next it’s skinny jeans. Who can keep up? These young folks, they sure try. They’re always lookin’ for the next big thing. They’re always searchin’ for somethin’ new. They sure are a curious bunch.
I’ve heard some folks sayin’ this whole thing is bad. They say it’s hurtin’ people. They say it’s makin’ people do bad things. I don’t know about all that. I just know it’s a lot different than it used to be. Back in my day, things were simpler. We didn’t have all these choices. We didn’t have all these… temptations. This whole new porn trends thing, it’s a big ol’ can of worms. And I don’t think anyone really knows how to put the lid back on. It’s out there now, and it ain’t goin’ anywhere. All we can do is try to keep up, I guess. And try to make sense of it all. Lord knows, it ain’t easy.
