Okay, so today I wanted to share a little project I’ve been messing around with. It’s all about tracking down some info on this lady, Catherine James, who’s apparently a news reporter or something over at FOX23 in Tulsa. I got curious about what she’s been up to, so I started digging around.
First, I fired up my trusty web browser and started with a basic search. You know, just typing in “Catherine James FOX23 Tulsa” to see what would pop up. I found a few interesting tidbits right off the bat. It looks like she does local news, community events, and some safety-related stuff. That’s cool, I’m always down for some local news.
Then I stumbled upon some information that seemed to be her professional profile or something. It said she produces the Friday evening newscast, which I guessed airs live at 4:30. There was some stuff about Cox 124 and ATT Uverse 99 in OKC and Tulsa, which I assumed were cable channels. It even mentioned something called a Special Projects Reporter, which sounds kind of important, right?
Next, I decided to see if I could find her specific articles or reports. I came across this site, I think it was called Muck Rack, that had a bunch of articles supposedly written by her. So I started browsing through those. I didn’t read every single one, but I skimmed a few to get a sense of what she covers.
I also tried to find a way to contact her, you know, just in case I had a burning question or wanted to say “hey.” That Muck Rack site had some contact info, but I also found another page specifically for KOKI-TV, which I figured was the FOX23 station. They listed an email address and other ways to get in touch. I didn’t actually reach out, but it’s good to know it’s there.

So, that’s pretty much my little adventure in tracking down Catherine James. I didn’t really do anything groundbreaking, but it was fun to see what I could find just by poking around online. It’s crazy how much information is out there if you just take the time to look!
And hey, I found she did a lot of news on September 23, looked like a busy day!
