Okay, so, like, I saw this thing online about Camilla Escobar’s dorm room, and I was like, “Whoa, that’s pretty cool.” I kinda wanted to do something similar with my own space, so I decided to give it a shot.

First, I scrolled through a bunch of pictures of her room. It was, like, super organized and had this really chill vibe. I noticed she used a lot of neutral colors with some pops of brighter stuff here and there. I thought, “Yeah, I can do that.”
So, I started by cleaning up my own room. Let me tell you, it was a mess! I had clothes everywhere, books piled up, and just… stuff. It took me a while, but I managed to get everything sorted out. I donated a bunch of old clothes and organized the rest. I even found some things I’d forgotten I had!
Then, I moved on to the fun part – decorating! I remembered Camilla’s room had some cool, like, wall art and stuff, so I tried to find some things that I liked. I found these posters and put it up on the walls.
- I grabbed some cheap frames from a store.
- I ordered a new comforter for my bed that matched the colors in the prints.
- I also got some little plants to add some life to the room, just like Camilla did.
After a few days of working on it, my room was looking way better. It wasn’t exactly like Camilla’s, but it was definitely inspired by it. I felt so much more relaxed and happy in my new space. It was like, a total upgrade.
It was a pretty fun project. It was a lot of work, yeah, but totally worth it. Now I have a room that I actually enjoy being in. I even invited some friends over to show it off, and they were impressed! They were all like, “Wow, your room looks so nice!” It made me feel really good about all the effort I put in. So yeah, that’s the story of how I tried to “Dormify” my room, inspired by Camilla Escobar. It was a cool experience.
