Okay, so I decided to check out this “Rainbow Room” thing in Doylestown. I’d heard some buzz about it, mostly from other parents looking for indoor activities, and figured, why not? It was a rainy Saturday, and my kids were already bouncing off the walls.

First, I tried to find some solid info online. Honestly, it wasn’t super easy. Their online presence could be better, a little confusing to piece the information together, but I finally managed to get a location and the general idea – it’s an indoor play space.
So, we packed up the kids and some snacks (because, let’s be real, kids are always hungry) and drove over. Parking was easy peasy, which is always a plus.
When we walked in, the first thing I noticed was the…well, the rainbow! Lots of bright colors, which the kids immediately loved. It’s basically a big open space with different play areas.
- There was a soft play area for the littler ones, with climbing things and slides. My youngest spent most of her time there.
- My older one was all about the bigger climbing structure. It had multiple levels, nets, and all sorts of things to keep him busy.
- They also had some pretend play areas, like a little kitchen and a grocery store. My kids are obsessed with pretending to cook, so that was a hit.
I spent most of my time chasing after the kids, making sure nobody got hurt, and occasionally joining in on the fun (I may or may not have gone down the slide a few times myself).
Overall Impression
It’s a decent spot to burn off some energy, especially on a day when you can’t be outside. The kids had a blast, and that’s really what matters, right? It did get a little crowded, but that is usual. I watched the staff, and they seemed to be doing a good job of keeping things clean and organized. Would I go back? Yeah, probably. It’s a solid option for indoor fun.
