Okay, so, I saw this “beautiful girlfriend” thing trending, and, well, I’m single, so I figured, why not? I’m gonna document this whole adventure, start to finish. It might be a total disaster, but hey, at least it’ll be entertaining, right?

Step 1: Finding the “Ingredients”
First things first, I needed some, uh, materials. I’m not an artist, not even close, so drawing was out of the question. My initial thought, grab some magazines.
I scoured through old magazines, but nothing really clicked.
Step 2: The Digital Dive
I decided that my best bet will be using some tools, I remeber that I have an account in some kind of AI image generator, so logged in and started.
First thing I did was type a prompt, something really simple “Girl with brown hair and blue eyes”, the results were, well disapointing.

- First try: The girl looked more like a melted candle than a human. Nope.
- Second try: Okay, slightly better, but she had three arms. Three arms! Definitely not what I was going for.
- Third try… twentieth try: Still a mess. Eyes in the wrong place, weird, spidery fingers, you name it.
Step 3: Refining the Recipe (and Getting Frustrated)
So, the simple approach wasn’t working. I needed to be way more specific with my words to the AI. Time for some trial and error, and a lot of head-scratching.
I started experimenting with different phrases: “photorealistic,” “smiling,” “long hair,” “casual clothes.” I even tried adding the names of some actresses I thought were pretty, just to see what would happen.
I spent hours, seriously, hours, tweaking and refining, I played around some more, adding things like “golden hour lighting” and “soft focus.” I even tried specifying the background – “sitting on a park bench,” “standing in a coffee shop.” Slowly, very slowly, the images started to improve.

Step 4: Finally, a Breakthrough!
After what felt like a million attempts, I finally got something I was happy with.
It wasn’t perfect, of course. But it was good. A girl with long, wavy brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a genuine smile. She was wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans, and she was sitting on a bench in a sunny park.
Step 5:Show off
I took the printed picture and placed on my desk.

I showed it to a couple of my friends, and they were genuinely impressed, I even invented some stories about her.
It was a fun experiment.
This whole thing was way more challenging than I expected. But it was also kind of fun. It’s definitely made me appreciate the skill of artists and the power (and weirdness) of AI. Would I do it again? Maybe. But next time, I’m definitely starting with a better plan… and maybe a dictionary of descriptive words.
