Okay guys, so today I was planning to catch some videos, you know how it is. Went to use avple and damn thing wouldn’t load videos properly. Just sat there spinning or giving me weird errors. Annoying as hell.

The Frustration Begins
First thought? My internet’s being crap. Checked other sites – YouTube, social media, all loading fine. Okay, not the net. Tried reloading the avple page like five times, maybe more. Still nothing. Just that same stupid loading spinner. Pissing me off already.
Starting Simple: The Usual Suspects
Remembered the basics, so started there:
- Cleared my browser cache: Went into Chrome settings, wiped browsing data – cache, cookies, the whole lot. Restarted the browser. Fired up avple again… nope, still broke.
- Tried a different browser: Jumped over to Firefox, typed in the site. Guess what? Still messed up. Videos refused to play. Feeling more annoyed by the minute.
- Browser extensions messing things up? I use an ad blocker. Turned it off completely for the avple site. No change. Disabled a few other sketchy extensions just in case. Still the damn spinner.
Basic tricks were a bust. Time to dig a bit deeper.
The Search Begins & Finding Potential Fixes
Decided to poke around online, see if anyone else was screaming about this. Found a bunch of folks complaining about similar stuff recently, so knew it wasn’t just me being unlucky.
Scrolled through forums and posts. Saw some repeated suggestions:
- Time Check: One guy said check your computer’s time and date settings. Seemed weird, but okay? Looked at the bottom right corner… clock was fine, synced correctly.
- JavaScript Jank: Another post screamed about enabling JavaScript. Went into browser settings, checked – JavaScript was definitely on. Made sure it was allowed specifically for that site. Still nada.
- Firewall Freakout?: Someone suggested my firewall might be blocking it. Opened up my firewall settings (Windows Defender), couldn’t see anything obvious blocking web traffic or that specific site. Didn’t want to mess too much here. Scary stuff.
Still stuck.
The Accidental Discovery
This is where I got lucky, honestly. Saw a tiny comment buried deep in a thread: “Try using another version of the site…” Huh? Didn’t even know that was a thing. Seemed vague, but desperation kicked in.
Thought maybe the site has a test version or something? Went back to the search, typed in slightly different names related to avple, found a URL that looked kinda official but a bit different. Risky, but what the heck.

Loaded it up… AND THE VIDEOS STARTED PLAYING! No spinner, no error. Just worked. Couldn’t believe it. So apparently, the usual place I went to was busted, but this other place worked perfectly.
What Finally Worked (For Now)
Here’s what actually got things moving:
- Finding and using that alternative site URL that others mentioned.
- Also noticed later that using Private Browsing mode on Chrome sometimes helped on the original site, but not always. Weird.
- Got a tip about trying a mobile device. Pulled out my phone, opened the site in Chrome mobile… yeah, videos loaded fine there too. So definitely something funky with desktop browsers and the main site.
No magic bullet, just a workaround.
Final Thoughts
Honestly, it feels messy. Shouldn’t have to hunt for backup site links just to watch videos. Major pain. But hey, it got me going for today. The core problem seems like it’s on their end – servers acting up, maybe stuff broken after an update. Who knows? The mobile thing working while desktop didn’t is a big clue it’s probably their problem. Hope they fix the main site soon. For now, got my workaround, back in business. Sharing this in case it helps you if yours stops working too.
