Okay, let’s talk about “ass pic”. Yep, you heard it right. I decided to dive into the world of belfies, and let me tell you, it was a journey.
It all started when I saw those perfect booty pics on social media. I mean, who doesn’t want a butt that looks like it’s been sculpted by the gods? So, I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, how hard could it be, right? Famous last words, people.
First things first, I needed to prep my canvas. And by canvas, I mean my ass. I remembered reading somewhere that doing squats before taking a pic is a good idea. So, I did some squats, around 3 or 4 sets. My glutes were on fire, and I was already feeling like a fitness model.
Next up was figuring out the right angle. I tried bending over, arching my back, twisting to the side – you name it, I tried it. I felt like a contortionist trying to fit into a suitcase. After about a hundred awkward poses, I found a few that seemed to work. Kind of.
Lighting was the next challenge. My bathroom light made me look like a ghost, and the sunlight from the window was too harsh. I ended up taking a lamp from my bedroom and placing it strategically to get that soft, flattering glow. Who knew taking a decent photo of your own behind required so much lighting adjustment?
- Step 1: Glute pump with squats.
- Step 2: Find the right angle (this takes forever).
- Step 3: Master the lighting (good luck).
- Step 4: Take a million photos.
- Step 5: Edit. Adjust the brightness, contrast.
Then came the actual photo-taking. I must have taken at least a million photos. I used a timer. Deleted most of them immediately. My phone’s camera roll quickly became a sea of butt pics. It was a sight to behold, or maybe not.
Lastly, I tried to edit those photos. I played around with brightness, contrast, and even a few filters. I didn’t want to go overboard, just enhance what was already there (or what I hoped was there). The more you edit and adjust it, you may feel you are already like a photo master.
The Result
After all that effort, did I achieve the perfect ass pic? Well, let’s just say it’s a work in progress. But hey, I learned a lot, and it was definitely an experience. Would I do it again? Maybe. After all, practice makes perfect, right?
