Okay, so, I’ve been obsessed with “The Voice,” right? And this season, there’s this guy, Asher HaVon, who just completely blew everyone away. I mean, the dude’s got a voice like butter, and his stage presence is just insane. So, naturally, I got super curious about him.
First thing I did was start digging for some basic info. Turns out, he’s 31 years old as of 2024. You wouldn’t guess it from his energy on stage, but hey, age is just a number, right? He’s from this place called Selma, Alabama. I started with basic Google searches, you know, just typing in his name and seeing what popped up.
Then I dug a little deeper. Turns out, he’s not just a great singer, but he’s also making history as the first openly LGBTQ+ winner of “The Voice.” How cool is that? I was so stoked when I found that out. There was this interview he did with Entertainment Tonight after the finale, where he talked about being proud to be part of the community and hoping to inspire others. Seriously, gave me chills.
I also learned that his interest in singing started in a church choir. It makes sense when you hear his soulful voice, doesn’t it? He released a new song in November 2024 called “Thank You”. It’s a tribute to Reba, his coach on the show. I found out about this song from his Instagram post. It’s such a beautiful song, and you can totally feel the emotion in his voice.
What really got me hooked was how unique he is. I read somewhere that he’s all about using emotions and visuals to create a whole experience. And it’s true! When you watch him perform, it’s not just about the singing, it’s about the whole package.
After I learned all that stuff, I wanted to know what he’s doing now. It looks like he’s still making music. I am so excited to see what he does next!
Anyways, that’s my little deep dive into Asher HaVon. It’s been fun learning about him.
