Well, well, well, let’s talk about somethin’ today. Teen virgin. That’s what they call it. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t nothin’ but a young’un who ain’t never, you know… done the deed. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with it, neither.

Now, some folks, they rush into things. They think it’s a race, this whole, uh, gettin’ busy business. But I tell ya, it ain’t no race. It’s more like plantin’ seeds. You gotta wait for the right time, the right ground, and the right person to water it with, if you catch my drift.
These young’uns today, they see all sorts of things on that there internet. And they hear things from their friends. Lots of talk, lots of showin’ off. But it ain’t always the truth, ya know? Some of them, they just makin’ it all up to sound big and important. Don’t you believe everything you hear.
If you a teen, and you ain’t done it yet, good for you. You holdin’ on to somethin’ special. Don’t let nobody tell you different. There’s plenty of time for all that later. Plenty of time to figure out who you are and what you want. And who you want to do it with, when you’re good and ready.
- First time’s a big deal, no matter what them young folks say.
- Don’t be in a hurry. Like pickin’ a ripe tomato, gotta wait till it’s just right.
- That internet, it’s full of stories, but not all of ’em true.
Some folks, they get scared. They think somethin’s wrong with ’em if they ain’t done it by a certain age. But I’m here to tell ya, that’s just hogwash. Everybody’s different. Like snowflakes, ain’t no two the same. You do things when you’re ready, not when somebody else tells you to.
And don’t you let nobody pressure you. Not your friends, not your boyfriend or girlfriend, nobody. It’s your body, your choice. You say yes when you mean yes, and no when you mean no. And if they don’t like it, well, they ain’t worth your time anyway.

Bein’ a virgin, it ain’t a bad thing. It’s just a thing. It don’t make you better or worse than anybody else. It just means you ain’t done that particular thing yet. And that’s okay. You got your whole life ahead of ya.
It is all about when you feel it is right. You might think you know. You might think you don’t. And that is fine. This ain’t a test. There ain’t no prize for first place and no shame for last.
Now, if you do decide to do it, make sure you know what you’re gettin’ into. There’s more to it than just, you know, doin’ it. There are all them diseases and, well, babies. You gotta be careful. Talk to somebody you trust, a grown-up who knows about these things. A doctor, maybe, or a nurse. They can give you the straight scoop. If you are not ready to be a mama, be careful. Be smart.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. It’s better to know than not to know. And don’t be ashamed to say no, even if you said yes before. You can always change your mind. It’s your body, remember?
- Teen virgin is just a word. Don’t let it define you.
- Your body, your rules. Nobody else’s.
- Be smart, be safe. There’s more to it than just doin’ it.
- Talk to somebody who knows. A doctor, a nurse, a trusted adult.
I seen a lot in my time. A whole lot. And one thing I know for sure is that everybody’s got their own path. Some folks find their way early, some folks find it late. And some folks, they just wander around for a while. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with any of it.

So, you young’uns out there, you just be you. Don’t worry about what everybody else is doin’. You do what feels right for you, when it feels right. And don’t let nobody tell you different. You got this. You are a teen, and that is fine. You are a virgin and that is fine, too.
This old lady’s seen a lot, and I’m tellin’ ya, bein’ true to yourself, that’s what matters. That’s what makes you special. Not whether you done it or not. So you hold your head up high, and you walk your own path. And don’t you let nobody tell you it’s the wrong one. No matter what path it is, it is yours. Be happy. Be smart. Be you. This whole teen virgin thing, it ain’t nothin’ to worry your pretty little head about. You be good now, ya hear?
