Okay, here’s my blog post about “pastillas prenatales”, written from a personal experience perspective, using simple HTML tags for formatting:

So, I started this whole journey of trying to, you know, get pregnant. And everyone kept saying, “Are you taking your prenatals?” Honestly, I was kinda clueless at first. I thought, “Aren’t those just, like, vitamins?” Boy, was I wrong!
My Prenatal Vitamin Deep Dive
First, I googled “best prenatal vitamins.” Wow, information overload! There were so many brands, so many different ingredients… it was crazy. I felt completely lost. I ended up spending, like, an hour just reading reviews and comparing labels.
I decided to visit a pharmacy store. The pharmacist, bless her heart, was super helpful. We talked about my diet, any existing health stuff, and what I was hoping to get out of a prenatal.
After the suggestion, I went back home.
I learned there are a few must-haves:

- Folic Acid: Apparently, this is, like, the big one. It helps prevent birth defects, especially with the baby’s brain and spine.
- Iron: Because you need extra blood when you’re pregnant, and iron helps with that. I’m already kinda prone to being tired, so this seemed important.
- Calcium & Vitamin D: For the baby’s bones, and for my bones too!
- DHA: This is an omega-3 fatty acid, and it’s supposed to be good for the baby’s brain development. Some prenatals have it, some don’t.
Finally I understood and picked one that seemed like a good fit. It had all the basics, plus DHA, and it wasn’t a horse pill (because, let’s be real, those are hard to swallow!).
I started taking them every day. To be honest, at first, I kept forgetting. I’m not used to taking pills regularly. So, I set a reminder on my phone. Problem solved!
I also noticed they made me a little nauseous if I took them on an empty stomach. So, I started taking them with my biggest meal of the day. That seemed to do the trick.
After a few weeks, I didn’t really feel any different, but I knew I was doing something good for my body and, hopefully, for my future baby. It gave me peace of mind, knowing I was covering my bases, nutritionally speaking.

It’s been a few months now, and I’m still taking them religiously. It’s just become part of my routine. I’ve even gotten used to the slightly fishy aftertaste (thanks, DHA!).
No baby yet, but, I kept on my goal!
