Alright, you guys, let’s talk about this “RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars” thing. I got into it because, well, who doesn’t love a good drag show, right? I started by watching the premiere on August 16th. I was hooked immediately. These queens were fierce!

I even went back and found the cast list announcement on some website. It was posted on July 15th. That’s how I learned which queen was from which country. It was really cool to see so much talent from all over the world in one place. I spent a lot of time checking out what challenges each queen had done in their previous seasons. Some of them were amazing. Honestly, some of these queens slayed their past seasons, so I had high expectations.
I gotta say, the challenges in “Global All Stars” were something else. I remember watching this one episode, and they had a reading challenge. You know, where they roast each other? It was hilarious! Then they had this runway thing with Naomi Campbell! It was amazing. The queens really brought it, and Naomi was, well, Naomi. A legend!
So, I listened to every song from the season 9 soundtrack because it was so fun to listen to. The music was a huge part of the show. I mean, the lip-sync battles are legendary, you know? I found the entire playlist on some site and listened to them.
And speaking of lip-sync battles, I watched the “LaLaPaRuza Smackdown” thing. Soa de Muse totally killed it. She won the whole thing and got, like, $50,000! And get this, they called her the “Global Lip Sync Assassin.” How cool is that? She also got crowned Miss Global Peacemaker and bagged another $10,000. That girl was on fire!
Oh, and you won’t believe who showed up in “Untucked” – Nicki Minaj! That was such a surprise. The queens were gagged, and I was too, watching from my couch.

I watched every episode, all the way to the finale on October 25th. Alyssa Edwards ended up winning the whole thing, and she got $200,000! Good for her. She really deserved it. And RuPaul’s song “Supermodel” became her highest charting pop hit, it reached number 45 in the US and number 39 in the UK. The song also reached number two on the US dance chart.
Here are some of my favorite moments:
- Soa de Muse’s lip-sync performances. Girl, she can move!
- The reading challenge. Some of those reads were brutal!
- Nicki Minaj’s visit to “Untucked.” What a moment!
- Alyssa Edwards’ journey to the crown. She really showed her growth.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with “RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.” It was a wild ride, and I loved every minute of it. If you haven’t watched it, you totally should. Just be prepared for some serious drama, amazing performances, and a whole lot of glitter!
