Well, well, well, look at this here. It’s ’bout time for that RuPaul’s Drag Race thingy, that season 16 finale, ain’t it? I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. All them fancy queens, struttin’ their stuff. My, oh my. They sure do put on a show, don’t they? This old lady don’t always understand it, but it sure is somethin’ to watch!
This season 16, they say it started back in January. January 5th, I heard. Now it’s comin’ to the end, the finale, they call it. Like the last piece of pie at supper. Everybody wants to see who’s gonna get that crown. Who’s gonna be the top queen? It’s all everyone talks about. Like who’s gonna win the pie contest at the county fair.
They say it’s gonna be on that MTV. What’s that stand for, anyway? Music Television? We got one of them TVs, but I mostly just watch the weather. Anyway, this RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 finale is on Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Whatever that means. I just know it’s when the sun’s startin’ to go down. That’s when you best be gettin’ home, youngsters!
Now, if you’re a young’un and you like this show, you probably already know all this. But if you’re like me, and you just hear bits and pieces, well, I’m here to tell ya what I heard. This here RuPaul’s Drag Race, it’s a big deal. They got all sorts of folks watchin’. Even my neighbor, Mildred, she watches it. And she’s older than me!

Now, I don’t know ’bout all that streamin’ stuff. They say you can watch it online. On the interwebs. We got that internet thing, but I mostly just use it to look at pictures of cats. But if you wanna watch this RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 finale, you gotta find it online, I reckon. They mentioned somethin’ called Philo, and Fubo. And some other things. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but the young folks seem to understand it.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout a free trial. Like when they give out them little cups of soup at the grocery store. You can try it for free, and then if you like it, you gotta pay. That’s how this internet TV thing works, I guess. You can watch this RuPaul’s Drag Race for free, for a little while. Then you gotta pay to keep watchin’.
Seems like a lot of trouble just to watch some folks in fancy dresses. But hey, to each their own, right? I remember when we didn’t even have a TV. We just sat on the porch and watched the fireflies. That was entertainment enough for us. But times change, I suppose. These young people and their fancy technology.
This Roku thing, it is also a way to watch this RuPaul’s Drag Race. They say everyone’s got a Roku. Maybe I gotta ask my grandson to set one up. He is always good at these things. Although, last time I asked him about the Facebook, he ended up buyin’ me a new toaster. So maybe I shouldn’t trust him too much with my TV. Don’t need my TV toastin’ bread.
They say this one queen, she’s real good. I forget her name. Starts with an “S,” I think. Or maybe a “Q.” They’re all so colorful, it’s hard to keep track. But this one, she’s got a real good chance of winnin’, they say. Just like that pie contest at the fair. There’s always one that’s a little bit better than the rest. It all depends on the final.
You can watch this RuPaul’s Drag Race, on Paramount Plus, too. Another streamin’ thing. Everyone’s got a plus these days. It is like a big competition between these streamin’ things. I don’t understand, but it means more TV to watch, I guess. And more RuPaul.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know ’bout this RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 finale. It’s gonna be a big to-do, that’s for sure. Lots of excitement and glitter and all that. If you’re into that sort of thing, you’ll probably enjoy it. Me, I’ll probably just be sittin’ on my porch, watchin’ the fireflies. But I might just have to peek at the TV and see who wins that crown. It is a big thing after all. Everyone is talkin’ about this RuPaul’s Drag Race. Just gotta find it on the right streamin’ thing.
