Well, howdy there! Today, I’m gonna yap a bit about something some folks call “abstaining from sex before marriage.” Now, I ain’t no fancy scholar or nothin’, just a plain ol’ body, but I’ve seen a thing or two in my time, and I got some thoughts on this matter.

What’s all this “abstaining” fuss about anyway?

From what I gather, it just means keepin’ yourself to yourself, you know, not doin’ the deed before you tie the knot. Some young’uns these days, they jump into bed faster than a chicken grabs a bug, but hold on a minute! Back in my day, we waited. And let me tell ya, sometimes waitin’ makes things sweeter, like a good ol’ apple pie after a long day of workin’ the fields.

Is it really a good thing?

Now, some folks say it’s old-fashioned, but I reckon there’s somethin’ to it. They say them fancy city folks with their studies and such, they’ve found that couples who wait, well, they’re happier in their marriages. Can you believe that? Happier! It seems like those who hold off are like a well-oiled machine, workin’ together smoother and longer. I heard tell it’s ’cause they ain’t got all that baggage from past relationships, you know, all them other fellers and gals. Keeps things simpler, like a good pot of beans, not too many ingredients messin’ it up.

  • More Satisfyin’ Marriage: Like a good home-cooked meal, waitin’ makes it more satisfyin’, or so they say. It seems like those who wait appreciate each other more, like a well-worn pair of boots that just fits right.
  • Less Baggage: No need to compare your spouse to others, you start fresh, like a new day. It’s like havin’ a clean slate, no need to worry about what happened before.
  • Stronger Bond: They say buildin’ a relationship on more than just, well, you know, makes it stronger. Like a sturdy oak tree, it can weather any storm.

But it ain’t always easy, is it?

Now, don’t get me wrong, it ain’t always a walk in the park. Young folks got hormones ragin’ like a wildfire, and it takes a whole heap of self-control, like tryin’ to hold back a team of runaway horses. And sometimes, even with the best intentions, things go wrong. People make mistakes, it’s just part of bein’ human. It’s like plantin’ seeds; sometimes they grow, sometimes they don’t. But if you set your mind to it, you can do it.

What about the Bible and such?

I ain’t the most religious person, but I know some folks swear by what the Good Book says. And from what I hear, the Bible ain’t too keen on the idea of messin’ around before marriage. It says somethin’ about God’s design and all that. It’s like followin’ a recipe, you gotta do it in the right order for it to turn out good.

So, what’s the bottom line?

Well, like I said, I ain’t no expert, just a simple body with a bit of common sense. But from what I’ve seen and heard, waitin’ ’til marriage ain’t such a bad idea after all. It might not be popular these days, but it seems like it can lead to a happier, more satisfyin’ marriage. It’s like lettin’ a fruit ripen on the vine, it’s sweeter when it’s ready. But ultimately, it’s up to each person to decide what’s right for them. Just remember to think it through, don’t just jump into things like a frog in a pond. Use your head, listen to your heart, and do what feels right for you.

The Truth About Abstaining From Sex Before Marriage is Good

It’s your choice, plain and simple.

At the end of the day, it’s all about what you think is best for your life. Don’t let nobody push you around or tell you what to do. You gotta make your own decisions and live with the consequences. Whether you wait or you don’t, just make sure you do it for the right reasons, not because everyone else is doin’ it. It’s like pickin’ out a good watermelon, you gotta thump it and make sure it’s right for you.

And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my chickens.
