Kicking Things Off with the 3 Loves Meme
So yesterday I found this silly “3 Loves” meme going around – you know, the one where you post pics of your three favorite things? Coffee, your dog, and weirdly shaped potatoes or whatever. Figured I’d jump on the bandwagon.
The Five Platforms I Tested
First up was Instagram: Grabbed my phone, snapped three quick pics – my beat-up sneakers, cold brew coffee, and my cactus Frank. Uploaded with that rainbow filter everyone uses. Took two tries because the app froze mid-post. Annoying but worked.
Next stop: Facebook: Wrote a dumb caption like “This cactus judges my life choices lol”. Added the same three pics. Saw my aunt commented “Who waters that poor cactus??” before I even refreshed. Classic Aunt Betty.
Twitter got tricky: Squeezed all pics into one collage since you can’t do slideshows. Posted with emojis instead of text. Got exactly one like – from a bot selling crypto. Felt kinda pointless.
TikTok was a disaster: Tried making a video flipping through my three love items. Frank the cactus looked tiny through the camera. Accidentally filmed my foot for half of it. Deleted the whole mess after three minutes.
The Winner for Memes
Best surprise was Pinterest: Made three separate pins with funny captions. Threw ’em on my “Random Stuff” board. Woke up to 12 repins? People actually liked Frank the cactus! Didn’t expect that.

What I Learned
- Instagram/Facebook are no-brainers
- Pinterest actually works for dumb memes
- Twitter ain’t worth the effort
- TikTok requires skills I don’t got
Honestly? Just stick with Instagram. Took five minutes and my cactus Frank is now semi-famous. Good enough for me.
