How It All Started
Me and my girl got this crazy rush after watching some movie scene where couple did it in public. We kept joking about trying it near our local park’s abandoned bandstand for weeks. Last Friday night around 11pm, we finally said “fuck it let’s go” after three beers each. Grabbed an old picnic blanket from my trunk just in case.

Scouting Mission First
We walked around the park pretending to be casual lovers holding hands, but actually checking:
- Where streetlights were busted (thank god for lazy city workers)
- Which paths had CCTV cameras (none near the trees!)
- How often security drove by (patrol truck passed once every 40 mins)
Making Our Move
Waited near the duck pond till 1am when even dog walkers disappeared. Found these thick bushes behind the bandstand – total darkness but still close enough to hear if anyone came. Spread that nasty blanket fast cause damn ground was muddy. I kept my jeans around my ankles the whole time so we could bail quick. My girl wore a skirt with no underwear – genius move cause she just had to pull it down.
The Close Call
Right when things got good, flashlight beams cut through the trees. Grabbed her hips and dragged us both flat behind the bandstand wall. Some drunk dude was pissing against a tree like 15 feet away! We stayed frozen holding our breath for what felt like hours. He zipped up and stumbled off without noticing shit.
Emergency Exit Plan
We had agreed beforehand on silent signals:
- Three quick squeezes = freeze immediately
- Dragging elbow = crawl away low
- If separated, meet at the burger joint across street
Kept car keys in my front pocket instead of backpack so no jingling.

Aftermath & Lessons
Finished in like 8 minutes flat – adrenaline kills stamina for real. Didn’t even kiss afterwards cause we were hauling ass back to the car. Found five mosquito bites in places mosquitoes shouldn’t fucking reach. Would we do it again? Hell yeah but:
- No alcohol next time – slowed our reflexes when running
- Bring bug spray like military grade
- Check weather apps next time – random dew made everything damp and noisy
