Okay, so yesterday morning I was standing in the shower, hot water beating down on my shoulders, and I thought – why not try squeezing some movement into this? Feels like wasted time just standing there. Saw some beginner shower exercise stuff floating around online last week. Decided to give it a shot right then.

Getting Started
First things first, shut off the damn water so I don’t slip and crack my head open. Safety first, right? Left the shower curtain open a bit for air too. Stood on that grippy rubber mat thing – feet planted wide. Took a deep breath like diving into cold water, felt kinda silly honestly.
The Simple Moves
Started stupid basic. Shoulder rolls. Rolled ’em forwards real slow while imagining pushing something heavy. Five times. Then backwards, same thing.
Next up? Neck stuff. Gentle. Turned my head left – real slow – like trying to see behind me without twisting my body. Held it for three steamy breaths. Did the same thing to the right.
After that, tried standing calf raises. Gripped the shower wall with one hand for balance. Just pushed up onto my tippy-toes, real slow. Held it for a second. Lowered down slower than my grandma going downstairs. Did ten of those. Felt the burn right through the steam.
Water was getting chilly by then. Turned it back on quick, let it warm up again. While the water ran, figured why not try a wall push? Faced the shower wall, leaned in towards it. Bent my elbows a tiny bit then pushed back. Ten reps. Easy but kinda woke my arms up.

Wrapping It Up
Finished with the water running over me just stretching my arms up high, trying to grab the ceiling. Held that a few seconds. Got out feeling weirdly more awake than usual after a shower. Muscles felt a bit tingly. Definitely felt less stiff.
End of day thoughts: Took maybe five extra minutes total. Was it magic? Nah. But moving while wet and warm just felt kinda nice. Stupid simple, zero gear needed. Gonna try sticking with it – maybe add a couple more slow moves next week if my feet don’t slide out from under me.
