Alright, so the other day, I decided it was time to deal with that Pornhub Premium subscription. You know how it is, these things add up, and I just wasn’t getting the value out of it anymore, plain and simple. So, I set out to cancel it.

Figuring Out Where to Start
First things first, I opened up my browser and logged into my account. My initial thought was, “Okay, this should be under ‘Account Settings’ or something similar.” I poked around in there for a bit. You’d think these things would be super obvious, right? But sometimes they bury the cancel button like it’s some kind of treasure.
I clicked on my profile, looked for ‘Subscription,’ then ‘Billing’. It wasn’t immediately jumping out at me, which is always a little frustrating. I remember thinking, “Here we go, they’re gonna make me jump through hoops.”
The Actual Cancellation Dance
After a bit more clicking, I finally found the section. It was something like “Manage Premium Plan” or along those lines. Once I clicked that, the option to cancel was there, though not as big and flashy as the “Upgrade” buttons, funny that.
So, I clicked on “Cancel Subscription.” And, as expected, the next screen was all about trying to convince me to stay. They asked me why I was leaving, offered a discount – the usual retention tactics. I just had to be firm and keep clicking “No thanks” or “Proceed to cancel.” It’s like a little mini-game they make you play.
There were a couple of confirmation steps. “Are you absolutely sure you want to lose access to all these amazing features?” Yeah, I was sure. Click, click, click.

Finally Done (Mostly)
Eventually, I got to a page that said something like “Your subscription has been successfully cancelled.” That was a relief. They usually tell you when your current paid period ends, so you still get access until then, which is fair enough.
I made sure to look for a confirmation email too. Got one a few minutes later, which is always good for peace of mind. I’ll also be keeping an eye on my next bank statement, just to double-check that no more charges come through. You can never be too careful with these recurring payments.
So, that was my journey. A bit of clicking around, a few “Are you sure?” prompts, but overall, manageable. It’s just one of those little life admin tasks, isn’t it? Glad it’s sorted now.
