My Little Experiment with That Scented Stuff
Alright, so I decided to give one of those extra scented vaginal cleaners a try the other week. You see them everywhere, right? Bright bottles, promising freshness and all that jazz. Curiosity got the better of me, plain and simple.

So, I picked one up during my usual shopping run. Didn’t think too much about it, just tossed it in the cart. The packaging looked fancy enough, lots of flowers and swirls. “Extra Scented” was written pretty big on the label.
Later, during my shower routine, I figured, “Okay, let’s see what this is all about.” I opened the bottle. Whoa. That scent hit me right away. It was strong, really strong. Like perfume, almost. Not bad, exactly, but definitely not subtle.
Following the directions, I used a little bit. It lathered up okay, felt like any other wash, really. Rinsed it off easily. Felt clean, sure. But that scent? It lingered. A lot.
Here’s the thing, and maybe this is just me:
- The feeling of being clean was there, can’t deny that.
- But the overpowering scent felt… weird. Artificial. Like I was trying to cover something up, even though there wasn’t anything to cover up.
- It made me wonder if all that extra fragrance is really necessary down there. Seems a bit much.
I used it a couple more times over the next few days, just to give it a fair shot. Same experience each time: felt clean, but the heavy scent just didn’t feel right for me. It felt like wearing strong perfume in a place you really don’t need perfume.

My final thoughts? Well, I tried it. It cleaned, like it said it would. It was definitely “extra scented.” But personally, I think I’ll stick to simpler routines. Plain water or a very, very mild unscented wash feels more natural and less like I’m trying too hard. This whole extra scented thing just wasn’t my cup of tea. It did its job, but it felt like overkill. So, back on the shelf it goes, probably won’t be buying it again.
