Trying Out Scissoring
Okay, so we were talking one night, looking to try something a bit different, you know? Keep things fresh. Someone mentioned scissoring, and honestly, I’d heard the term but never really gave it a proper go. Seemed like one of those things you see in movies more than real life, maybe? But hey, why not?

We decided to just jump into it. Got comfortable on the bed first. That part’s easy enough. Then came the positioning. It wasn’t immediately obvious how to get started, despite the name. We both kinda turned onto our sides, facing each other. That felt like the logical first step.
Then came the leg part. This took some maneuvering. It wasn’t just like, bam, perfect position. More like:
- I shifted my top leg over hers.
- She adjusted hers.
- We wiggled around a bit, trying to get our hips close.
- There was definitely some awkward bumping and laughing involved.
Finally, we got into a position where our vulvas were roughly aligned, pressed against each other. That seemed to be the main idea. The legs were intertwined, kinda like scissors, yeah, so the name makes sense once you’re actually doing it.
Getting the Movement Down
Alright, so we’re in position. Now what? We started moving our hips, kinda grinding against each other. It wasn’t like P-in-V sex at all, obviously. It was all external friction. Finding the right rhythm took a minute. Too fast felt weird, too slow didn’t do much.
We had to communicate a bit. “Like this?” “Maybe shift a little?” That kind of thing. It was definitely more about clitoral stimulation for both of us. The pressure felt good, but finding that sweet spot consistently required paying attention and adjusting.

It’s quite intimate, being face-to-face like that, legs tangled up. You’re very close. We tried changing the angle slightly, one person moving a bit more forward or back. That changed where the pressure landed.
We kept going for a while. It was… interesting. Different sensation for sure. It worked, definitely felt good, but it took focus to maintain the right pressure and movement. It wasn’t as straightforward as some other positions, needed a bit more active participation and adjustment from both sides. But yeah, we figured it out. Added another tool to the toolbox, so to speak.
