Trying Out That Upside Down Idea
Okay, so someone mentioned trying things upside down. Gotta say, sounds way cooler than it actually felt when we tried it. It wasn’t exactly planned, more like one of those spontaneous, “Hey, what if…” moments late one night.

We’d seen something, maybe in a movie or read it somewhere, probably exaggerated like crazy. Looked kinda hot, adventurous. So, we thought, why not give it a whirl? What’s the worst that could happen, right?
First off, finding the right spot. Bedroom seemed obvious. We cleared some space on the floor near the bed. The idea was for her to kinda prop herself up, using the bed for support, while I… well, did my part. Easier said than done.
Getting into position was attempt number one. Lots of awkward shifting. “Like this?” “No, wait, my arm’s stuck.” “Are your feet supposed to go there?” It felt less like foreplay and more like trying to assemble IKEA furniture in the dark.
Then came the actual upside-down part. She managed to get her legs up, sort of braced against the headboard. Looked precarious. I’m trying to get into position, and all I can think is, “Don’t drop her.” Seriously, concentration face was fully on.
Blood rush is real, folks. After maybe thirty seconds, she’s like, “Okay, head feels weird.” Not exactly the mood setter we were going for. Plus, from my angle, it wasn’t the most… flattering view? Let’s just leave it at that.

We tried adjusting. Maybe more pillows? Different angle? Attempt number two involved more pillows and less stability. Nearly had a tumble. My back started complaining a bit too. Definitely not as effortless as those diagrams make it look.
There was a moment where we both just paused, mid-awkward pose, looked at each other, and burst out laughing. It was ridiculous. All that effort, the shaky limbs, the slightly dizzy feeling.
So, the grand experiment? Didn’t last long. We untangled ourselves, maybe a little red-faced from the blood rush or the laughing, probably both. Ended up just cuddling and doing something way less acrobatic.
Verdict? It’s one of those things that sounds fun in theory. Maybe we did it wrong. Maybe you need to be a gymnast. Or maybe it’s just not for us. It was definitely memorable, mostly for the comedy of errors. Sometimes sticking to the classics is just… easier. And way less likely to involve a potential concussion. Good story though, right?
