Today, I messed around with something called “quif,” and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I’m not gonna lie, I had to scratch my head a few times, but I finally got it working, and I’m here to share the whole messy process with you.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to actually get this “quif” thing. I followed the instruction on Github and cloned the repository to my local machine. Simple enough, right?
git clone */quif-design/quif
Then using, cd command, I changed the working directory.
cd quif
The Build Process
Okay, this is where things got a little hairy. Turns out, you can’t just run this thing. You gotta build it first. There’s a build file, of course, and I spent some time staring at it, trying to figure out what the heck was going on. I followed these steps:
- I installed * and npm.
- I opened the terminal in my project directory.
- I ran
npm installto get all the necessary bits and pieces.
Running the App
After I ran npm run dev, finally, the application started running.

Like, always read the instructions (even if they’re confusing at first), and don’t be afraid to experiment.
