Okay, so the other day I was craving something sweet and I remembered this ice cream flavor I’d heard about, “Moose Tracks.” Sounded kinda weird, but intriguing, right? So I decided to figure out what this stuff actually is.
My Moose Tracks Investigation
First, I hit up the internet, you know, the usual Google search. I typed in “what is moose tracks ice cream” and started reading.
It turns out that Moose Tracks isn’t a brand, it’s a flavor.
- The base is vanilla ice cream. Sounds pretty normal so far, right?
- Then, it’s got these things called “Moose Tracks” fudge swirls. Basically, thick ribbons of fudge running through it. Okay, I’m definitely interested now.
- And the best part? Peanut butter cups! Mini ones, scattered all throughout.
I went out and got different brands of Moose Tracks ice cream to try,then I have a few tasting notes.

Some has the strong flavor of peanut butter.

Some has more fudge.
So, yeah, that’s my Moose Tracks adventure. I learned something new, satisfied my sweet tooth, and had a little fun in the process. If you haven’t tried it, and you like vanilla, fudge, and peanut butter cups, you really should give it a shot!
