Okay, so today I decided to check out the Clifton Park Planned Parenthood. I’ve been meaning to get a check-up, and it was finally time to just do it.

First, I went online to look for their location and hours, make sure I do not have to make an appointment. I found the address and they accept walk in patients.
Then this morning,I drove over there. It wasn’t too hard to find, thankfully. I always get a little anxious about finding parking, but it was fine, I can park my car right in their parking lot.
Once I got inside, I walked up to the front desk. The person there was pretty friendly. I told them I was there for general check up, and they gave me some forms to fill out. Standard stuff, you know, medical history, insurance, that kind of thing.
I sat down in the waiting area and filled everything out. It took a little while, but I made sure to be thorough. After that, I just read my e-book while I was waiting for them.
After a bit, a nurse called my name and took me back to one of the exam rooms. She did the usual vitals – checked my blood pressure, asked about any concerns, and all that.

Then the doctor came in. She was really nice and listened to everything I had to say. We talked about my overall health, and she did a physical exam.
Finally, the doctor gave me some recommendations and answered all my questions. She then told the nurse to set up the testing instruments I need for my check up.
Overall, it was a good experience. Everyone was professional and respectful, and I felt comfortable the whole time. That’s really all you can ask for, right?
