Alright, so I wanted to get some decent photos of the Planned Parenthood Jones Center. Nothing fancy, just some clear shots for a personal project I’m working on. Figured I’d share my little adventure.
My Photo Mission
First things first, I grabbed my trusty old camera – it’s not a professional one, just a simple point-and-shoot, but it gets the job done. I made sure the battery was charged and the memory card had enough space. You know, basic stuff.
Then I headed out. It was a pretty regular day, not too sunny, not too cloudy, which is actually pretty good for taking pictures. Less glare and weird shadows to deal with.
When I got there, I spent some time just walking around the building. I wanted to find the best angles. You know, see what looked good from different spots.
- I started with some shots from across the street. This way, I could get the whole building in the frame.
- Then I moved closer and took some pictures of the entrance.
- I also made sure to capture any signs or details that seemed important.
I tried to be mindful of the people going in and out. I definitely didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable, so I focused on the building itself. No sneaky shots or anything like that.
After about 30 minutes, I felt like I had enough to work with. I took one last look around, made a mental note of the lighting and the overall vibe of the place, and then headed home.
Back at my computer, I uploaded the photos and started to go through them. Some were a little blurry, some had bad angles, but overall, I got a few good ones that I’m happy with. Mission accomplished!
It wasn’t a super exciting project, but it was something I wanted to do, and I did it. That’s always a good feeling.
