So, I had a thing I needed to get checked out, and I decided to go to Planned Parenthood in Upland, CA. I’d heard good things, and it seemed like the right place to go.
First, I tried to get some basic information. Where is this place? When are they open? What services do they offer? I looked it up and found their address, 918 W. Foothill Blvd., Ste A, Upland, CA 91786. They are open from Monday to Tuesday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. That’s good to know.
Then I called them up at (909) 890-5511. I asked some questions about prenatal services. The person on the phone was real helpful and told me they have prenatal and postpartum services available at the Upland Health Center. They also mentioned something called “Pregnancy Access Bridge,” but I didn’t really need that.
After that, I scheduled an appointment. I could have tried to do it online, but I just decided to do it over the phone while I had them there. It was pretty easy. But the phone person told me I can also book appointments online for some services.
On the day of the appointment, I drove over to the place. It wasn’t hard to find. They told me that walk-ins are accepted if they are not too busy, but I’m glad I made an appointment because it seemed pretty busy when I got there.
Once I was inside, I checked in and waited for a bit. The waiting room was clean and pretty comfortable. It wasn’t long before they called my name.
I met with the doctor, and we talked about my concerns. They were super professional and made me feel comfortable. They answered all my questions and gave me all the information I needed. The doctor also told me they provide birth control pills and other contraception services.
After the consultation, they performed the necessary tests. Everything was done efficiently and with care. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time.
Finally, after all that was done, I got my results, and we discussed the next steps. Thankfully, everything turned out to be fine, but it was a relief to have it checked out.
