Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about what happened when I went to Planned Parenthood in Victorville, CA. It wasn’t a big deal, really, but I figured I’d share since it might help someone else out there.

First off, I realized I needed to get tested for STDs. It’s not something I was thrilled about, but hey, it’s part of being responsible, right? So, I started looking for places nearby that offered testing, and Planned Parenthood popped up. I’d heard of them before, mostly for birth control and stuff, but I figured they probably did STD testing too.
I went on and looked for information about the Victorville location. It was pretty easy to find their address and phone number. I decided to call them up to see if I needed an appointment.
The person on the phone was nice enough. They told me that it’s not required to schedule an appointment. Then I chose to go to Planned Parenthood directly. I made it clear that I needed a STD test, and then they gave me some basic instructions.
When I got there, I checked in at the front desk. The waiting room was pretty standard, nothing fancy. After a little bit of a wait, a nurse called me back. She was friendly and professional.
She asked me some questions about my medical history and what kind of test I needed. It’s the usual panel of tests, you know, the 10 Test STD Panel, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, Herpes 1 and 2. I confirmed with her, and then she explained the process. Basically, it involved a blood test and a urine sample.

- Blood test: Standard stuff, they just took a little blood from my arm.
- Urine sample: Also pretty straightforward, I just had to pee in a cup.
The whole testing process was quick and painless. I was in and out of the exam room in maybe 15 minutes. They told me the results would be available online in a few days.
True to their word, I got an email a few days later saying my results were ready. I logged into their website and checked them out. Thankfully, everything came back negative, which was a huge relief.
My Thoughts
Overall, my experience at Planned Parenthood in Victorville was positive. The staff was professional, the process was efficient, and I got the results I needed without any hassle. If you’re in the area and need STD testing or any other sexual health services, I’d definitely recommend checking them out. It’s not the most exciting thing to do, but it’s important, and they made it as easy as possible.
I gotta say, it’s good to have places like Planned Parenthood around. They offer a bunch of important services, and they do it without judgment. I hope this helps someone!
